The new GEDmatch is open
From GEDmatch:
The new GEDmatch is open at https://beta.gedmatch.com
You'll notice left-hand navigation, a searchable catalog of every tool, and "I want to…" cards on the dashboard. You can pick your language and the site updates in real time. GEDmatch has been English-only until now.
Also new: My Clipboard (Tier 1) lets you build a working set of kits once and use it in every tool, instead of retyping kit numbers. It replaces multi-kit analysis. Folders (Tier 1), favorites, search, and columns you can sort, hide, and reorder, with the layout saved per tool. Notes and tag groups live in one place. A match count on the dashboard (Tier 1), new matches highlighted and sortable by date, and whole lot more. Optional profile details: location, experience level, whether you were adopted, social links, and a short bio.
Unchanged: same science, same results, still free, same privacy and security. Nobody has to migrate. Kits, GEDCOMs, and notes are already there.
The current site runs in parallel through early next year while we move the remaining tools over to the new version.
You can watch a walk-through video of the new site here.
