From the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies:

"The IAJGS recognizes that Special Interest Groups, JewishGen Research Districts, Birds of a Feather, and Research Groups are all important parts of the Jewish genealogical community. With members scattered throughout the world, our annual conference has been a logical and convenient place for these groups to hold annual meetings and to organize programming of interest to their members.

"Because our next conference will be held virtually in April 2027, the IAJGS is offering its resources to these groups to help with coordinating and hosting virtual meetings."

See here for a list of groups, meeting dates and registration links. Zoom meet-ups begin on Sunday, July 12, with the last -- as yet -- scheduled one on Thursday, Aug. 20.

You can read more here about why the IAJGS is skipping this year and why next year's conference will be virtual instead of in person.
