1:30pm - 4:00pm: JGSTB Meeting: Using Multiple Databases in Tandem to Solve Problems

George G. Morgan will discuss “Using Multiple Database in Tandem to Solve Problems”. Mr. Morgan will discuss and demonstrate the value of using multiple databases in tandem to make your research life easier and more effective. This disciplined approach to solving difficult genealogical problems involves setting goals for your research, defining the types of evidence you need, determining which online resources you should use, and then investing the time to build and organize a set of browser bookmarks to make your research life easier. You will learn which types of sources to view with cynicism, and how to personally verify facts. This approach will be demonstrated with an example - “Looking for the Wilson Family.”
