Dear JGSTB Member and Supporter:
In 2018, we were pleased to honor Linda Zolinsky, founder of The Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay (JGSTB), as one of the Pinellas/Pasco Jewish Community’s “Women of Distinction.”
For 2019, we wish to honor Sally Israel, who has served for nearly the organization’s entire 20-year existence as (a) Jill-of-All-Trades; (b) female consigliore; (c) trusted advisor; (d) publicity chair; and, of course, (e) baker of delicious chocolate chip cookies for every meeting.
We hope to see many members and JGSTB supporters at the ceremony to honor Sally’s many contributions. Sally has unselfishly done so much for JGSTB. In return may we make a special effort to support Sally when our local Jewish Federation bestows this significant community honor?
We can sit together so our cheers will be greatly amplified when Sally’s name is called!

Format: There will be a reception with light hors d’oeuvres, followed by a staged reading from an upcoming play about women serving in the Israeli army, followed by the awards presentation. Dietary Laws Will Be Observed (under the supervision of Rabbi Pinchas Adler)
